Cruise 2010

I realized that I never posted about our AMAZING cruise with our AWESOME friends from California! We had SO much fun!

Day 1 - at sea. Laying out and eating!

Day 2 - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas - This was one of those spots that is owned by the cruise lines, but we walked down the beach quite a ways to get away from the partying, and really enjoyed a quiet day of swimming and sun. We rented a HobieCat and sailed, and didn't even break it this time!

Day 3 - St. Thomas/ St. John - We took the ferry to St. John and then a taxi to Trunk Bay, which has to be one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. We snorkeled and swam, the swimming was amazing! We had lunch at a little place in town and shopped for stuff for the kids.

Day 4 - San Juan, Puerto Rico - What a fun day! We toured the fort, which was really cool. Amazing to think it's been there for 500 years! San Juan was really fun to walk around and shop in, and then Eric and I stopped and had probably the best meal of the trip - mashed plantains with chicken for me, steak for him, and finished it off with coconut pudding and chocolate flan.

Day 5 - Grand Turk, British West Indies - The plan was to go snorkeling, but the wind picked up and it rained, so that got cancelled (I didn't complain - I'm not such a strong snorkeler). But, we tried out this awesome boogie boarding thing, they called it FlowRider, it is a continuous wave where you stay in one place and do tricks and stuff. It was so fun, but I have to apologize to the 40 or so strangers who saw a little more of me than they wanted to.

Day 6 - Sea Day - A good day to relax and enjoy the sun some more before we had to go back to reality!

15 years

Time has flown by so quickly, I can hardly believe that Eric and I got married 15 years ago! Wow! I still feel like a newlywed (except for the 4 kids hanging around my house).

Thanks for the picture, Caroline!

Thanks, babe, for helping make the last 15 years fly by. Marrying you was the best thing I ever did, or ever will do. I love you.
